MLA Style Research Essay

First and foremost, format your paper in MLA 8th edition. Essay #4 is due on May 3rd at midnight.

FROM SYLLABUS:

Last semester you learned to write a research paper. This semester, you must build upon what you learned. You MUST choose a controversial topic that is realted to POP Culture and is popular in the media. You must find, analyze, and cite at least 6 to 10 peer- reviewed, credible sources published from the year 2010-present.

You MUST use the MSU databases to find these peer reviewed sources.

You must use the knowledge you gained from this research to form an original claim, with 3 supporting ideas and rebuke a popular counter claim.

You will write 15 paragraphs (1850- 2200 words) that include paraphrases, direct quotes, original support, and in text citations (at least 2 per supporting idea) to prove your claim. Remember to include the 5 categories of evidence.
